Problems typing on my laptop!!

Could anyone tell me why when I want to type something either typing an email or using Microsoft Word, my cursor always jumps into the beginning or in the middle of my sentence! My sentences always end up mixed up!! I don't know what to do, its driving me mad!!!!!

Sorry guys don't know if I made sense in my post, but what I mean when I type its the words that end up jumping/moving into the beginning or middle of the sentence. Hope I make sense!

Well.......could be your Laptop needs cleaning.

Maybe a virus but unlikely, try giving ure keyboard a service.

I do often clean my laptop and have no viruses. Can u plz tell me what you mean by giving the keboard a service?

clean the keyboard for dust, take out the keys and clean them.

you can buy cleaning kits is most shops like WHSmiths

I have been to the website , but there seem to be a cost for
the various antivirus softwares - or am I totally mistaken .

As someone who is not very knowledgeable on these things , could you please advise me which one to download to get the free antivirus protection

You are likely inadvertently touching the mouse pad.
The mousepad can be temporarily disabled.
Try clicking on the mousepad icon and clicking on suppress taps. You will still be able to point but you will then need to use the click button but you can restore taps when your done typing.

I have PC-Cillin and currently have recently checked for viruses etc. and nothing.

When I type I do not touch the mouse pad on my laptop at all which was suggested by mibn2cweus

Might be that your touchpad is faulty and is detecting you using it when you're not?

Do you have a USB mouse you can use and if so, is it possible to disable the touchpad completely?

Yes I think I can disable & use a mouse with a usb
