Many many things - compact disc for one.

And all these were first seen on the programme:

* The Breathalyser (1967)
* The ATM (1969)
* The pocket calculator (1971)
* The digital watch (1972)
* Teletext (CEEFAX) (1975)
* The personal stereo (1980)
* The compact disc and player (1981)
* The camcorder (1981)
* Barcode reader (1983)
* Clockwork radio (1993)

In the early 1980s I bought a cameral I had seen on the programme - the film was held in a compact disk shape. I can't remember what it was called, but it obviously didn't take off.
The one I remember was the Old Green BT Phonecard for phoneboxes (remember them , Phoneboxes that is....).

Michael Rodd I think went through it all about it burning off the credit as you used it , all very high tech then.
