Not too sure whether this is possible or not however what I decided to do was just sell my PS2 and as I have a good PC, just buy games for PC and bought a joypad with exactly the same layout as the PS2 controller. I just save my games to PC so its basically just like having a PS2 built in.
Buy a tv card which not only allows you to watch tv on your computer, but via the audio/video connection you can "throw" the PS2(or VCR or DVD player for that matter).
