However, I fail to understand why someone should want any version of the world's worst browser (or, indeed, any Microsoft software) on their PC. I'd estimate that at least 80% of the 'regulars' here in the I&T section of AB switched to Firefox ages ago:

same old same old...he didn't want a lecture on spelling or Firefox now did he. Why can't you just answer the question or don't bother. YOU might think it's 80% because it's only such as yourselves that keep shouting about it. Personally, I doubt if you make 8% of the population using a computer let alone 80!. Funny though, you don't want any Microsoft software on your computer but you're all pefectly happy to use Microsoft Windows, except those of you on Macs of course.
Well said Mrs_Pegasus, no you're not missing anything at all except a browser that won't load lots of pages if you switch to Firefox. I've tried it loads of times and it's no better at all, just won't load half the stuff you want it to.

As I stated previously, the easiest way to get hold of IE7 is probably from one of the 'free' CDs which accompany most computer magazines.
However, if you're looking for an alternative download site, it occurred to me that some of the magazines might include IE7 among the downloads available on their webpages. A quick check has shown that it's available from Computer Active, here:

It seems that Camioneur is unaware of the fact that many home PC users (along with many schools, police forces, government departments, local authorities and major companies) have ditched Windows in favour of Linux.
