Are the indoor aerials currently on sale and advertised for use with STB's* actually any use?
We live about 5 miles from a transmitter and get a good signal with a cheapo indoor aerial with analogue.
Can I avoid having to pay for an outdoor aerial when switchover comes?

*p.s. Do set top boxes stop working if you put them by the side of the set or on the floor? Idiotic name!!!
