Rightly or wrongly, my mate bought one of these off ebay for �150, saying it was a bargain.

Basically it is a hand held device which can be used for internet, email ands mobile phone, a sexy bit of kit!

It turned out to be German, and it was locked.

He contacted T-Mobile UK, but they weren't a lot of help, as they don't issue these models in the UK.

If he doesn';t manage to unlock it (he's tried sim cards galore!), he's left with an expensive piece of trash!

What can he do?
