Closed Word document before saving it - aagh!
5 Answers
I had 6 word documents cascaded and was closing them all one by one and "saving as" as I went.
I accidentally closed one out of order, by clicking on the wrong tile and so did so when I hadn't saved it!
Is there any way of recovering data in a document that was untitled or is it lost forever - gulp - minor breakdown...
Please advise, people...
Thanks

Trouble is it did ask me did I want to save it, but as I thought I had done that less than 5 secs ago (had actually done it with another file cascaded underneath) I said no and closed it.
Only then did I realise the true horror of what I'd done!
Have spent best part of this evening rewriting. Hey Ho...
Thanks and I shall be much slower in saving and closing in future!

OK, sorry to hear that. You could try a file recovery tool:

But since you've rewritten the same file, it may not be all that effective.
