when you say damaged, do you mean physically ot just the data on the card thats damaged ?

I'm not sure you can do much about a physically damaged card, but data wise your computer treats it as a removable disc so there are data recovery programs on the net that will try to recover the data. Failing that you could format the card and hopefully that will make it usable again although you will lose all the information stored on there.

cheers for that , it is reading as a card error on the camera and not being recognised on the pc, either by card reader or usb, is there any free data recovery progs that you know of ?
