What is the easiest way to transfer about 600+ songs from a PC to a laptop? I really dont want to havw to download/ load them all again!!! Is there an easy way to do it??

Easy pease, lemon squeezy.

Open the folder the music is stored in
go to edit and select all so they are highlighted
drag and drop the whole lot in one go in to your ipod folder (under my computer)

then connect the ipod to the laptop
go to my computer
open the ipod folder
and voila! there the files are ready to be removed in the same way

*don't bother trying to copy them from itunes because you can only connect a particular ipod to a particular itunes (called synched).
also don't bother trying to take the songs you put in your playlists from your ipod and trying to open them on a different computer because itunes encrypts the song and artist and only appears if you use it on itunes.
