Im trying to copy a movie from my laptop to a blank dvd, but it doesnt seem to give me the option to copy to dvd on windows media player, only to copy to a cd. My computewr has the facility to copy dvds, just cant figure out the way to do it?? thanks

You can't. You have to get a program like Nero, Ashampoo, Sonic, or any other burning program.
There is a programme called DVD shrink that will allow you to BACKUP dvds to your harddrive it shrinks them to the size of 4.5gb. You need another burning programme though that will allow you to transfer it to DVD.

you can also do a google seacrch of DVD shrink to see which is the right one for you. It allows you to copy encrypted discs (FOR BACKUP......) ho hum!!! good luck
