Software to enlarge picture

I have a pic which on my computer looks good at 1280 x 1024, and if I print out on A4 landscape again looks fine. Anyway what I want is to print that same picture in sections on something like 8 sheets of a4 by 4 sheets of a4 and then mount on the wall.....so massive basically. Do you know if there is some software that will take and image and then work it out so that it will cut the image up like that.........hope this makes sense.

The picture will look very 'grainy' at level of enlargement but, if you want to give it a try, there's some free software here:
