electronic personal organiser
3 Answers
Does anyone own a hand held personal organiser? There do not seem to be many in the shops , so it's hard to check the features , although I have heard of a make called palm. I have parkinsons and find it difficult to write. I wondered if this may be useful?

If I understand correctly a symptom of Parkinson's is an inability to acurately control the fingers, if so then PDAs are not likely to help much since they either rely on using a stylus smaller than a pen on a small screen or a very small keyboard. That said almost all of them allow you to enter information on your computer (which you can apparently do) and then have that information synchronised to the handheld. In terms of practical use and development I would have to say that those PDAs based on the Windows Mobile system would be most available and supported these days. Any good computer shop should be able to assist you.
