When you have been looking at websites, a drop down title bar appears displaying recently visited sites. Is there any way you can delete these items?

In Windows XP go to start > settings > taskbar and start menu (alternatively right click the start button then select properties) > under the start menu tab > customise > then clear the recently accessed documents/web sites. In Windows 2000 go to the advanced settings of the taskbar and start menu properties then clear. In Windows 9x The advanced tab is called the start menu program which is where you will find the clear button.
If you want to delete all traces of the smutty sites you've been visiting before the missus sees them then you really should opt for a History Kill programme...simply type this into google and opt for one of the many choices.
