In a website that i surf regularly, every time i click through it i get the message 'This page contains both secure and non-secure items. Do you want to display the non-secure items'. As this is happening all the time, it is getting a bit annoying! Any way i can turn this off?

Try this: in IE > tools > Internet Options > Advance tab > under Security ensure Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode is unticked.
