Cassettes onto MP3

I have a lot of old radio shows on audio tape and want to convert them to MP3 .

My setup is that I have a PC , recording software and a cassette player with output via a headphone socket.

I have seen a music centre that converts casssettes to MP3 and has a SD Card slot. Not sure uf it has USB output. Its about �100 which is a bit much just for this purpose.

Can anyone suggest the Best Way to convert?
