I don't own the program so no I have not tried it, but I did a google search to get the answer for you. I also looked to see if there had been any complaints about the plug in and can't find any, so I would assume that it's ok. However, I think it very unfair that anyone is expected to pay extra for plug ins, unless maybe you have a basic program and the manufacturers have done this plug in so you can upgrade?
Have you tried burning that disc on dvd shrink as that will convert the file type to VOB and I think you need that to be able to view on a dvd player. Might be what this plug in is all about. There's some freeware available to convert and it may be worth playing about with those - but email the manufacturers first and ask about that plug in.
