wiping my hardrive.....loads of problems!!!

how do i wipe everything off my hardrive so i can install windows xp again?
having loads of problems sinse i got my laptop back,it was wiped clean because of a nasty virus and now its just playing up all the time.
i installed bluyonder when i got it back and the net worked fine but then i loose conection and when i log off and go back on again i cant access the net!
i have to keep reinstalling blueyonder every time i want to go online and even that doesnt work every time.
what do i do? thanks for any help in advance just incase i loose the net again.

Hi,
to wipe your hard drive you just need to install XP from the CD. To install XP you should just need to start up your laptop with the XP CD in its drive and follow the setup install instructions.

When you start the XP setup routine, you need to delete the existing partition, recreate the partition, and reformat. Otherwise, XP will either install over the top of the existing one (repair install), or install alongside the existing one (dual boot).
