We have a old windows 95 computer and havent used it in years and its just taking up space so i want to get rid of it, but i know that old computers can hold lots of personal information like credit card numbers and stuff. So i was just woundering how do i wipe all the information from the computer so that we have no fear of people stealing/ using the informaiton on it.
but i think my dad will want to give it to charity so is there any way of clearing the data with out removing the hard drive....cos then it could still go to a good cause, (well if some one wants a computer that is only good for typing on).
