Some smart alec on a site I use has sent me the following message: C6C1D5C3E840C140C3C8C1E340E2D6D4C5E3C9D4C56F I'm guessing it's hexadecimal or something, but I'm not sure how to translate it - any ideas (either how to translate, or what it says!). Thanks in anticipation.

It says:

I bet you waste at least two hours trying to work this out.

LOL - no idea, sorry.
Hello limeycat, your friend has used straight ASCII and translated it says

C6 C1 D5 C3 E8 40 C1 40 C3 C8 C1 E3 40
F A N C Y <sp> A <sp> C H A T <sp>

E2 D6 D4 C5 E3 C9 D4 C5 6F
S O M E T I M E ?

To which a suitable reply might be

E8 85 A2 40 97 93 85 81 A2 85 B3
Y e s<sp>p l e a s e .

Sorry, I meant to say EBCDIC, not ASCII. EBCDIC ( ebsydick ) was the original hex character code used by IBM for punched cards on their mainframes. I remember it well !!!!
