Hi, I've also posted this on "recipes" but had no luck, does anyone know of a good software program for me to scan in my recipes and will also sort them?

scan your recipes and sort them? you must be dreaming. scanning anything will just create a picture file and your pc cant read any data from the picture so sorting it can not happen unless you want to sort by date scanned, picture size, resolution etc. to sort your recipes you would need a program that would allow you to insert the data individually ie, type of food, ingredients, time to prepare etc. you need a database program like microsoft access, grass, mysql etc. but scanning and sorting is never going to happen. unless of course you have the time and money to create a standard layout for your recipies and scan that, maybe you could get some character identifying software but im sure you wont want to do that
