premium rate numbers in business

New to site still getting to grips. However i am looking at setting up a premium rate number to give readings. has anyone had any experience running this type of service what would they advise

approach BT or Vodafone they both sell premium rate numbers and will be able to offer you some advice on expected costs, revenue streams etc.
