What do you use for your emails? I have MSN at home, which there doesn't appear to be an option to do this. However, at work I use Outlook express and this has an 'out of office' assistant which i can turn on when i'm going on leave. I simply type a short message telling people when i return and people automatically get this when they send me something. If you use MSN at home then maybe you could just send a quick email to everyone in your address book telling them you will reply to any emails sent after such and such a date.
