Calling Ugly_bob - 2 ripped dvd's on one disc Cont'd...
8 Answers
Hi Ugly_bob i tried what said about inserting the avi's onto the disc using nero (version 6), then allowing nero to convert and rip to dvd.
It allows me to insert the avi's but it does not convert them to VOB it just copies them as AVI', and as my DVD player(s) dont play avi, it doesnt work.
WIn AVI easily converts my avis to VOB (creating AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders and files within), the problem I have is inserteing more than one episode on a disc (more than one VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS, cant do it! It allows me to copy them but will only play one episode!
Help!!!!

not sure.
Just had a look on Nero on PC here at work. It doesn't have the option I use at home. I'm not sure what version I've got at home then.
The only options here are
'Burn DVD-Video files' which is for burning already created VOB files
'Make Data Disc' which will put the avi files directly to the disc.
I'll have to have a look when I get home to find the difference between my Nero and this one.
You haven't got the option of 'Make Your Own DVD-Video' have you? I think that's what it's called. Sounds like you may have the same version as I have at work.

Does it look like this? This is the version I have at work, which doesn't seem to have the function you need

I see. Looks like you've only got Nero Express.
The one I showed was Nero StartSmart. I think this is just an interface to access different Nero products. I've only got Express here too by the looks of things after checking. I'll have a look at home and see what other part of Nero I use to burn.
I should be home about 6, I'll have a look then and see what home PC says.

That's what mine looks like at home. Seems the option you want - 'Make Your Own DVD-Video' is part of NeroVision Express 3

has a free trial version, but there are ways of getting free full versions, as I'm sure you'll know
