Hotmail problems

Has anyone else had trouble with hotmail today? I just can't get at it! The closest I can get is the msn homepage, when I try to go any further I get the 'server cannot be found' error message, I've been trying on and off since lunchtime. It was working fine last night, if it is just me has anyone got any suggestions as it's starting to drive me mad! Thank you.

YES! I have, here in the USA. I've been trying to send an e-mail message from my non-Hotmail address to a Hotmail address, and I keep getting an error message sent to me stating that her mailbox is "unavailable". I don't know what to do about it except wait another day or two and try again.

No problems in the UK at 9.30 am on Wednesday.

cant get nowhere near Hotmail since yesterday. doesnt even open the Hotmail page. :((((((((

No problems here Tuesday or Wednesday. It used to go down for a few hours but the problems have never been serious. Microsoft couldn't look bad letting their service pack up for very long, and the volume they get it's surprising it handles it so well usually. I will add I discovered Yahoo users rarely get spam, I get 40 a day. How would Yahoo do that?

This was driving me mad, as when I got to work today I was able to log into hotmail immediately, home again this evening and it wasn't working - so i went to a forum for technological type minded people and have been informed it's a "glitch" with AOL. Anyone using AOL will not be able to access any MSN service - they are working to fix it, supposedly this is part of some "war" over the use of messenger. Thanks for your replies
