I am thinking of changing to Sky Broadband from Tiscali. Anyone know if I have to give equipment from Tiscali back to them? Many Thanks.

Like you, I am also changing from Tiscali to Sky Broadband as the service from Tiscali has been appauling to say the very least. Beware, when I tried to switch last week to Sky, they couldn't do it as Sky said I needed an unblocking code from Tiscali. Apparently, it's a nightmare trying to get this code from Tiscali and have heard horror stories of it taking up to three months. Nightmare! Good luck
The code to which you refer is a MAC number. They should be able to give it you over the phone. They will,of course, try the salesman pitch to get you not to leave but will eventually cough up the number .
Ive never used Tiscali but have never read anything complimentray about them either.Their broadband is very cheap and cheerful and very over-subscribed i should think.

In total fairness I've been with Tiscali for 4 yrs now and haven't had any probs. Their technical dept is very good but can be a trial getting thru to them. Just to give a little balance here. My friend took up the Sky "package" and all he keeps getting are regular price hikes even tho his broadband is allegedly "Free"
