LaCie CD burner drives are simple IDE internal CDRWs boxed with a IDE > USB or IDE > Firewire adapter. I don't know whether they sell the boxes without the drives: http://www.lacie.com If you have a SCSI internal burner you just need a power supply as you can connect to an external SCSI adapter.

Hi I supply external cd-rw drives but for the price of �100ish you can get a dvd writable drive that is portable and plugs into your usb port if you have one.
PS i have all the lacie drives at good prices
