For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.LaCie CD burner drives are simple IDE internal CDRWs boxed with a IDE > USB or IDE > Firewire adapter. I don't know whether they sell the boxes without the drives: http://www.lacie.com
If you have a SCSI internal burner you just need a power supply as you can connect to an external SCSI adapter.
