Mouse Difficulties (excuse the heading) !!!

Hi Folks

I recently installed Windows XP and have found that the small toggle that allows me to view pages on the web up and down by merely moving the toggle up or down no longer works .... gotta use the bars to the right and bottom of the web page along with the left mouse button .... a major hassle, I know !!

Anyway, went to the IBM site (the mouse manufacturer) and downloaded updated software but it hasn't made any difference ....

Something in the deepest recesses of my brain tells me a friend had the same problem and they opened a file or folder and 'checked' an 'unchecked' box that re-activated the toggle ... can't remember ...

Can anyone help ?

Try clicking Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse and have a look through the different settings in there.
