spybot download

I have heard that it is also advisable to have spybot on your pc too. How do I go about downloading this ??

I have just finished reading an article that recommends
Max Secure Software's Spyware Detector as the best spyware remover - However, I am never sure if these articles are written with a certain bias.

Has anyone got experience of this software ??

Does anyone have first-hand experience of Max Secure Software's Spyware Detector and Spy-Bot and could recommend which is best ??

The Max one is not free - it's $30 at the moment. :(

There are plenty of tried and tested free products - I have been online for nearly 15 years and never had a security problem.

I have spybot but it might be advisable to also run spywareblaster which stops a lot of spyware getting into your system in the first place that you may need spybot to remove. Its free. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster .html
