The best must surely be the i-Pod! You'll have to hunt round for the cheapest though.

i do not have an imac i have an ibm

The iPod comes with software that allows you to use it with windows, so PC type isn't a problem.

and you can get a jacket which connects to the ipod. the controls are in the sleeve!! http://www.softswitch.co.uk/SOFTswitchNews.html
