Softwear for spreadsheets??

I`ve had some spreadsheet attachments, but can not open them as I`ve not got the right softwear. Can some one please tell me what I need for this please?? I`m a novice where pc`s are concerned. TIA.

Well first it is softWARE not softWEAR.

You need to find out what product produced the spreadsheets.

If it is Excel (as I suspect) then you can get an Excel viewer from Microsoft for free from here

Rather annoyingly it has censored the link becuase it includes the letters Y I D (racist term for a jewish person).

The word is familiy with ID on the end.

I will include spaces, I hope this works, it is F A M I L Y I D

or download open office (openoffice.org) this is a freee package that includes a v good word processor and spreadsheet application.
