Orange Broadband Disconnecting

I have been with Orange / Wanadoo for a year and have recently changed the package online to increase speed. Since I have done this it keeps diconnecting every few minutes and then reconnects. Sometimes it tries to redial and says there is no dial tone then after a few mins it connects. Does anyone know how to rectify this, is it a problem with Orange or do I need to change a setting on my computer? Thanks in advance.

Initially, your connection undergoes a period of training, to assess the optimum connection (Sync) speed. This could take upto 10 days before it settles down, during which time you probably will be faced with disconnections.
