Outlook outbox query ...

anyone tell me likely reason my outlook insists on trying to send a message when doing send/recieve when there isnt one in my outbox ... it then always comes up with "cant send mail" ... even tho no mail to send ...

This can happen at times.. Its usually caused by a corruption of the PST (Where all your mail is stored) or by an antivirus program. The easiest way to resolve this issue is to export your email.. recreate your profile with a new PST and then import the mail you exported.. if you need any help with this.. let me know and what version of outlook you are using too.

ok ... i get that .. whats a new PST though ... and how do i check for the version of Outlook ... as far as i can see its Outlook 2003 ...
