I think it is about time I got Freeview. However, I have no idea what one or brand or price to go for. I don't really want to spend more than 50 though. Can anyone advise please?
Thanks

As long as your TV's got a Scart socket, any Freeview box will work with it. There's very little difference between different makes and models. Simply look around places like Tesco Extra, Asda & Argos and buy the cheapest one you see. You shouldn't need to pay more than 30.

I seem to remember that it is a good idea to get a Freeview box with TWO scart sockets as it is easier to set it up with a VHS or DVD.

There is some advice here

There are some product reviews here, but not sure how up to date they are.
