toshiba laptop recovery

I started the recovery process on my toshiba satellite pro 2100, but i think the disk is scratched, because it stops at 25%. it says 'extraction failed' In the meantime, I think its deleted my hard drive. what can I do? can I use the recover disk for my dell pc (that im using now if your wondering!)

help!!

Hi Adam,

Contact toshiba who will be more than happy to send you a replacement disk.

Or

Try making a copy on your Dell if you have the ability to copy disks that is. Hopefully your Dell can read the disk and make a successful copy.

It is unlikely that your Dell disk will work in recovering your toshiba laptop.

In case you check back here Edd, thanks for the advice. you were right on both parts...the dell disc works but I cant register it, Although Toshiba will post out a new recovery disc when they are in stock...approx. next thurs.
