editing myspace

Hi I am new to myspace and I am trying to change the look of my page. I know html so that is not the problem...I seem to be unable to actaully find the page where you put the code in to change things such as the background colour etc etc...I have looked in edit profile but that seems to be just the pasrt that stores info such as hobiies...status etc etc...thanks

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You just add the html as you edit your profile. A guy that I know did some great stuff to make the editing much easier, and he's put his results up here (very useful since you know HTML):

That's exactly what I mean. There is no special area for typing in the HTML to edit background images etc. You just have to add it to the profile section where you type all your details in.
The tricky bit is knowing where to add stuff, what ID selectors to use, etc. (I assume you know what I'm talking about). This is solved with the link above -- there's a download at the bottom, that's just a general HTML template. You can then edit that to get what you want, then just paste it onto the profile edit page on myspace as it says in the instructions.
