how do i remove folders and subfolders from win xp

Create a folder in whichever directory you prefer then go to each of the sub-folders containing the files, select all, cut and paste to your new folder, then repeat the action in the parent folders. Finally, check that each of the original folders/sub-folders contain no files and delete such folders.

I presume that none of these folders which you wish to delete are part of the operating system or contain application programs, otherwise you will have major problems
