Monitor not working

Hi,

I was putting some new RAM into my computer and I must have got some static to something in there, because now when I switch in on nothing comes up on the monitor. Does anyone know what being broken in the computer would cause this?

I guessing it is the Graphics Card which is ******** as that is the only thing besides the RAM slots my hands went near and is what the monitor is conected to.

Any thoughts
