canon 400d not focusing

hi

I got delivery of my new canon 400d this afternoon and it seems that nothing looks in focus throught the view finder... it comes out in focus in the picture but is always a little blurry when looking through it so you have no chance on manual focus. the lights ping up to chose the focus points but the whole image is blurry..likeyou need glasses.. and I am wearing mine at the time.. anyone else get this is this the norm or do I seem to have a faulty one.. it is a refurb from teh canon outlet so it should have been checked.. any ideas? thanks

On the top right of the viewfinder is a little wheel to adjust for different eyesights, it has probably been knocked off the central position. Either that or you need to go back to your opticians :-)

thanks lots... that works... it had even rang canon support and they said no idea send it back..but thought it had to be something on the camera..

so you are better then canon support...

thanks saved me having to take it back....
