As an answer to a question on here I was advised to scan for viruses at:http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_cor p.asp
This
I did and some viruses were found. As these were said to be non-cleanable the site advised deleting them.
They all have addresses like C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\PxmF372.exe and C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\Miu8373.exe.
Do they have any positive affect? Is it OK to delete without doing anything else?
Generally speaking, the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder is for temporary files that your computer needs, such as installation files, etc. but then deletes. If you restart the PC & find that they're still there straight after the re-boot, it should be fine to delete them. .exe files can certainly be viruses.
