i have a video ipod the itunes program was installed on my old pc. ive jst got a new laptop and tried to install itunes again no problems until it came to the library a little pop up came up saying that my ipod was something on a different library and did i want to switch over to the current one
looking at this current library it only had half the songs i have so thinkin i would lose the rest just clicked no
but now i cant put any new songs on as they just go in the library and not on the ipod cos the ipods still with some other library
how can i rectify this???

ah never mind i 'fixed' it myself only way was to switch back (took ages to find|) to the new library with hardly any songs in it went from 645 songs to just over 100 lol
you may try a software name Tansee iPod Transfer, with it, you can backup your music from iPod to the new laptop at first. Then switch your iPod to the new iTunes, add the songs to your iPod again.

Don't sync with your new itunes until you have copied your tunes over or you will lose them, but I guess you knew that anyway.
