PS2 playing region 1

does anyone know if you can play or made a ps2 play region one discs. thx

Pretty sure you can get them chipped to do this, but don't know how you would go about it. (Too poor to afford a PS2 :-( ).

You can ourchase a disc that you put in your pd2 before hand and then vhose the region you wish to play before putting your region i etc dvd in to play. I believe its called Region X and can be bought fairly cheaply for under a tenner from somewhere like play.com
