My ipod for some reson is frozen. I have downloaded some tracks from itunes then the ipod says "ok to disconnect" so i did this but the screen on ipod has a big tick sign and still says ok to disconnect.

I have tried pressing every button and even tried holding down every button for several seconds.

Any ideas how i can solve this??

This has happened to me. You leave the battery to die, and put it on charge for fifteen minutes. Start upyour iPod and it should be fine.

Yes as above.Connect your ipod to your computer then set the Hold switch to Hold and then off again. Finally, press the centre and menu buttons together for at least 6 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You are then back in business.
