Buy the software and a data cable it is a breeze to do I did my sons - check Ebay about �5.00 in total + P&P

I have just bought the software off eBay and tried it - didn't work. Research reveals this is because mine is a V3R which needs the code.

Vodafone have offered to sell me the code for �19.99.

Using cables or software are not safe to unlock your mobiles. Use unlock code to do so. It is the safest way to do it. Get the code from the site http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/motorola-razr-v3/rs16wp9/ ,and unlock it using unlocking instructions which given in the site itself.
