Forms and CGI scripts

I am a real beginner for websites and want a form - do not understand what I've found re CGI scripts.. can someone help even offer a script.. that I can just upload with not to much techy changes..? or is this just a dream?

not sure what you're asking for but i'm guessing you want a noddy guide to scripting and even perhaps some examples? Note exactly a 10 words or less subject i'm afraid, though it is easy peasy to pick up - you need a book on HTML/Scripting/CGI etc. - possibly there is an "Idiots guide" or "...for Dummies" guide, but one book i would recommend is http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/013030897
