Help! Can anyone help me? My home page keeps getting hi-jacked by Globe-Finder every time I go an-line. I have used programs like Adaware but it still comes back. Arrrrggggggh, how do I get rid of this c**p once and for all?

If you've made sure that Ad Aware was using the newest set of definitions, then my next step would be to do repeated Google searches, web and newsgroups, do discover if anyone had had this problem before. (On the main Google page you can choose Groups instead of Web to search in) I would also see if there was any leftover programs running in the Registry, win.in, Startup folder, etc.etc Good luck.
Try http://www.timmonet.co.uk/html/sphijack.htm for a couple of ideas to put this right.

Thanks I'll give it a try
Check Control Box - Internet Options and check the General tab to make sure it's the correct webpage.

Tried that. It wasn't going to be that easy! I keep changing the home page back in 'Internet Options' but as soon as I go back on-line it changes back to Globe-finder.
Mmmm. What you could try is. While you're on the 'General' tab click 'Clear History' It'll delete all the pages you've visited in the drop-down window of your browser but it may also delete all the options for your home page. If it does, just tap in the one you want.
Just had another idea. I don't know what Globe-Finder is but they may well have their own version of a choice of home page. Try and find it and put the correct home page in THEIR window.
