Sampling?

I am trying to record one of my minidisks onto my pc so that I can burn it onto CD, however it appears that my PC doesn't have any kind of sampler - only Windows Media Player.Does anyone know of any free software that is available on the internet? Thanks!

Goldwave is a good sampling program. It used to be shareware, but I think it's trialware now. Give it a try, I don't know how much it costs but it may be worth it as it's a crackin' utility!
