I've recently copied some DVD's films to my external hard drive and now wish to copy back to a DVD RW disc but when I copy them back to a DVD disk my DVD recorder dose not recognize the disc and wants to format it, it will play on my computer but not on my recorder, I'm using Roxio Easy Media Creator Home just drag to disc, dose anyone know if I need a special copying format or anyway that I can copy it to work in my DVD recorder, my DVD recorder is a new LG make, when I first copied them I just dragged them to my external hard drive so naturally expect it to copy straight back to disc there are no copy rites stop on these discs as I have copied them to disc to disc before can anyone help with this problem

Check which type of disk plus or minus will be accepted by your DVD recorder and use that .

I'm using the same disc that I use on my DVD recorder all the time they are DVD+RW
i am using dvd creator, it allows me to burn DVD disc,DVD folder and ISO file from all popular media formats like MP4, AVI, WMV, MOV, MPG, MPEG, DAT, MKV, FLV, etc. and also allows you to customize your DVD movie by editing the video effects and selecting menu template, transition effect.
