When I go online I have lost the adress bar at the top - the one you copy and paste if you want to do a hyperlink - I've looked everywhere I can think of but I can't get it back - know I'm being dense but could someone tell me how to get it back please?

Thanks

Does it come back if you press F11?
Try pressing F11 on your keyboard.
Oops!
Right click in the menu bar and see if there is a tick next to 'Menu Bar', if not left click on it.
I meant to say address bar
I should have also added that if that doesn't work, look at the top right of the screen to see if it is hiding on the right. If it is, right click and click on 'lock toolbars. Then click on the address bar (the bit you can see) and drag it to the left. Then lock the toolbars again.

Hi guys - I've tried all of these but no good. Any other ideas gratefully received.
Try going to 'View' , click on toolbars and then make sure there is a click against address bar
Next step assuming you still have no address bar.
Right click the toolbar (or select view >toolbars) and remove the ticks from all of the options except address bar. It should now be there, even if only at the extreme right hand side. Select the left hand side and drag it back to where you want it. Go back to View >Toolbars and click them one at a time and posioton them where you want them. Lock the toolbars.

Thanks HWKE that worked. It was being covered by a 'Mywebsearch' tool bar that appeared one day without my asking for it!
