I am trying to print a document of mine from Microsoft Word. The document consists of 7 very similar pages, which have a background, a couple of pictures here and there, a couple of text boxes, and quite alot of normal text. Everything prnts perfectly apart from the normal text, which isn't in text boxes. It appears on screen fine, and I know it has nothing to do with ink cartridges. It worked fine a couple of weeks ago when I printed just one page to see what it would come out like. Any ideas at all what may be wrong??

How did you insert the background?
Try creating a new blank document then select all in your own document, copy and paste into the new document. See if that helps.
Does it appear on print preview?
You could
email
me the document and I'll take a look ?

Thanks very much for your replies yesterday. Out of desperation in the end I copied and pasted all the text into individual text boxes in a new document, as the text boxes seemed to be printing fine!

Am still puzzled as to why it's doing that though, as I'm sure it's happened to me before. HWKE - I manually created a background by just using a drawn out rectangle the size of the page. I made sure it was at the back, behind everything else. It appears fine on print preview.
