IE6 Not loading properly

When I click a link on a website which opens a new window, my IE6 wont load properly. When I select the new window, the screen is white and wont load. I have to hit Esc then F5 to reload the pages. I recently uninstalled Kazaa as it is a pain and kept crashing out on me. Is this the problem? If so, Does anyone know how to fix it please? Thanks

Standard things really: are you protected by an up-to-date antivirus software? have you run an updated adaware? you can also repair IE using the add/remove programs in the control panel
